Lovely Necklace

I fell in love with these collar necklaces ever since I saw them on Jeune Marie and Simple Lovely, they are just so pretty! In fact, Sarah Danielle's DIY project to create one of these great pieces has me keeping my eye out for my own little treasure. Lately, while perusing blogs, I've noticed that they keep popping up more and more, and the great thing is that people are starting to take the idea and make it their own. While some like to use a "bling" necklace like the one above, others take painted wood pieces or any other item that they may find and make it into a cool necklace. Personally, I'm liking the low fit in some of these pics, mainly because high-sitting necklaces just do not look right on me (they make my head look big!), so I think I'm going to go for on that sits a little lower.
