2013 is almost here and I can't help but smile at all of the amazing things 2012 brought us and all of the great things still to come. Tomorrow we are heading off to St. Augustine for a little family reunion to close out the rest of 2012 and welcome 2013. I've spent this past week returning emails, cleaning up my desk, and finishing up last minute details before it's time to head out. 

I wish you all lots of love and hugs! Thank you for spending 2012 with me and I look forward to starting a bright 2013 with you all. Best wishes!

Tomorrow we're heading up to some chilly weather and visiting the in-laws. I'm looking forward to taking Jack on some hikes and enjoying the cold weather. We'll be back next weekend, so have a wonderful weekend and an even better week!

{Photo Diary} Michigan through Instagram

Hello lovelies! We're back after a long week up in Michigan!

We went to shoot a destination wedding, which you can read about more here. Then we drove up to Traverse City to visit Tony's dad and do some sight seeing. We saw great lakes, climbed mountainous sand dunes, looked over high cliffs, and visited a little island where horse-n-buggies live. I'm still working on my photos but here are a few Instagram photos we took while out-and-about...

On another note, I changed up the blog again! 

I've been wanting something cleaner and less cluttered for a while. Mainly because I really want to dive back into the blog with some fun new content, so it was time for makeover! It's still a work in progress, so stay tuned!

Signing Off

 Tomorrow we're leaving for Michigan to shoot a destination wedding! The bride and groom originally planned to have their wedding here in South Florida, and then decided to relocate to Michigan to be closer to family. Best part is...they're bringing us along!

The wedding is taking place in Owosso, MI, this tiny town in the middle of the state. Afterwards, we're going to take a drive and visit my father-in-law in Traverse City, the cherry capital of the US! I'm looking forward to some good old fashioned sight seeing, eating lots of cherries, and perhaps even visiting my beloved Mackinac Island again. 

We'll bring back lots of pictures!

Wheels Up!

Happy Friday!

Tomorrow we're heading off an a 12 hour road trip for North Carolina to visit the in-laws. I'm looking forward to a little R&R, barbecuing, and catching up on my summer reading. We're bringing Jack with us and I can't wait to see him run around  crazy in the yard. He runs crazy laps around the dining room table regularly, so I think he'll have no problem in the yard ;-)

Signing Off...

Hello lovelies! Today is my Friday as we're leaving tomorrow for a little weekend get-a-way to Hutchinson Island. From what I can tell there's not much to do on the island, which is perfect because my idea of vacation is just that, doing lots of nothing. I'm thinking of just packing my bathing suit, sandals, and pair of shorts with a T shirt and calling it done. That's the kind of carefree weekend I'm looking for after all the craziness that had occurred during the last few weeks.

On another note, Instagram finally released its Android app which means that I have finally joined the land of cool and hip looking mobile photos. I haven't been able to figure out if there's a way to access your own Instagram feed online like you would Twitter, but if you'd like to follow me and all of my soon to come hip photos, my profile name is Mangogal.

Photo Diary: Asheville, NC

We're back from our two week hiatus in Asheville, NC. We visited Tony's parents and spent the week lounging around the house enjoying the fireplace along with the occasional day trip. If you haven't been to Asheville yet make a trip to visit one day. It's beautiful and artsy, plus there are amazing mountains and hiking trails for you outdoorsy types ;-)

 

Such a great way to end the year! I'm excited to see what 2012 brings!
