Caged

I know everyone loves them, but every time I see the Yves Saint Laurent Cage Shoes, I can't help but remember these: The cagey, jellies of my childhood that turned into a dreadful, sliding mess in the summer when your feet started to sweat in the thick plastic. Still...perhaps Yves figured out that whole sliding problem, I would probably put my jelly aversion to the side and rock the less extreme version like Giovana Battaglia did here:
She made them look rather fetching here don't you think? I like the clear heel...ok, sign me up!

LOL Before I scrolled down to the send picture, that was the first thing that came to mind... the jelly shoes our moms made us wear in the 80s. LOL I don't see the appeal either.
