Open Air

I have a big crush on open-kitchen-shelving. I like seeing the rows of shelves filled with stacks of plates, cups, and pitchers. My husband discovered this little obsession of mine the other day when he caught me staring at a wall in Sur La Table covered with rows of shelves filled with white serving ware in complete gaga. Needless to say, I have so many images saved of kitchens with open shelves. I'm hoping that when we have our first house I can somehow finagle some into our kitchen. Ah...a girl can dream can't she?
