Chevron

I have Chevron on the mind lately.

No, not the gas, the pattern. I'm seeing it everywhere, it's such a simple pattern, and yet it's crisp and pretty. Perfect for a DIY project, so I've been walking around the house the past few days trying to find the right thing "to Chevron". Yep, that's my new catch phrase..."Let's Chevron something!"Perhaps making some cool art? As you already know, my home is in desperate need of some art on the walls. This would be an easy enough pattern to create myself. I saw this lamp the other day and thought it was so cool. Could you imagine finding a lamp at a thrift store one day and sprucing it up to something like this? Swoon!Or maybe repainting a beautiful piece of furniture? The possibilities are endless, just need to find the right piece. I have this little image stowed away on my computer just in case we ever need to put down wood floors. Chevron floors anyone?

*Update*

I found this hot diddy while perusing the Anthropologie sale section...how did they know? So cute! I love the color for summer, perfect with a tan.

I have the most dangerous love for chevron flooring.

I was "this close" to buying a house that was a complete money pit because it had chevron floors.

We still have the original 1890's flooring in our home with the inlaid edge detail but alas it's still not chevron.
