Pick Me Up Monday Blues

I'm exhausted. This weekend was a rather tumultuous one, non-stop, and lacking in something I see as one of the most precious gifts the big guy upstairs gave us...sleep. Mango looked at me this morning and asked if I was ready for a brand new week, all I could do was sigh and say, "Bring it on." So here we are at a brand new week and I desperately need a nap. :::Yawn:::

However, I can always count on my favorite blogs to put a smile on my face this morning. Today I'm loving:
This photo of Seleta enjoying herself at the beach and regardless of what she says, I think the red nail polish looks fabulous. Emily's new bag for Coach. I think its adorable with its pale pink hue and pretty gold accents, perfect for summer.

Right now I'm reading Elizabeth Gilbert's book, Eat Pray Love, and I'm loving every page of it. Since its a memoir instead of a novel, I find it so inspiring since I'm reading about the inner workings of an artist's mind. This morning I found this video on Courtney's blog and listened to it right away. It's just Elizabeth Gilbert talking about life after Eat Pray Love, her hopes for the future and the future of her craft.

And last, my sister is slowly sending me photos of the wedding we shot yesterday. Over the weekend she gave me a crash course in photography or as I like to put it, "Dropped some knowledge upon me". I had a blast yesterday taking photos of this gorgeous wedding and watching my sister in action. She sent me this shot this morning, because she knew that it was my favorite. I love the shoe shots, especially when the groom is wearing fun socks.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Cheers!

Her speech is such a good one and always relevant! I love how approachable and "human" she appears -- not scholarly or author-turned-rockstar, you know. Cute post of different bits of inspiration!
