Adventures in Asheville Part 2

When in Asheville, stop by the local farmer's market. We found some interesting things there like purple peppers, dark watermelons, boiled peanuts, and handpicked blueberries...Next stop was 12 Bones, that little BBQ place that the President made a pit-stop at during his visit to Asheville... In my opinion, this was some of the best BBQ I've ever had. If you are ever in the area, make sure to give it a try. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband had something called the "Hogzilla", which was basically a sandwich filled with every pork item they had...he's ambitious. This was the first time I'd ever seen a Magnolia tree in person. It was absolutely beautiful, I would love to have one in my backyard some day. The last leg of our trip took us to this amazing spot in Lake Lure...and the gorgeous beaches of Hilton Head, SC...and that's all from our adventures in Asheville!
