Yesterday was a sad day for us. We had to put our 15 year old lab down named Miami. I've had her since I was 12 years old and she was my buddy. She was one of our two labs, the other one, Frasier, was our male lab who passed away about 2 years ago. He basically ran the house, however Miami would always hang out in my room and sleep in my bed. She reached the ripe old doggie age of 15 and lived a long and rambunctious life. We reached the decision to let her go after we realized that she was suffering, it was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make as a family. I'll miss my pal who let me put bows in her hair and paint her nails when I was a kid. It is unbelievable how a pet can bring so much love into your life, I will never forget them.
