Baby it's cold outside...

It's 60 degrees today and I am loving every minute of it. Not a cloud in the sky, or even a hint of humidity to make my hair frizz up, ahhhh...thus is winter in Florida. However, being a child of the northeast, the chilly weather merely makes me crave the good old cozy winter of the north. Right now Mango and I are counting down the days until we go up to Asheville, NC to visit his parents during Thanksgiving week. They live in a beautiful home right next to the historic Grove Park Inn which is usually our hangout for hot chocolates and toddys near the gigantic fireplace.

Next year, however, I'm definitely going to plan a winter getaway for just the two of us, somewhere that we can just lay next to the fireplace and watch the snow fall...sounds like my kind of vacation. Somewhere that looks like this: With a giant wood burning fireplace to roast marshmallows...
Drink hot cocoa...and bring out comfy sweaters, amazing coats and tall boots...

For some reason when it comes to dressing up in the winter time, I love wearing black and white, not sure what it is. Since I'm not usually into carrying a purse while walking around town, I'll usually grab a small clutch or coin purse for my essentials and keep it in my coat pocket...no need for blush or lipstick, let the cold weather do that for you.

It is SNOWING here! Can you believe it?? I love the snow when I can watch from inside my house but not when I have to drive in it!
