Huge Thanks!

Special thanks to This Glorious Family and Chocolate and Wine for bestowing my very first blog awards! Such a wonderful surprise! Thank you so much, I truly am so happy and honored.

This Glorious Family gave me the Proximidade Award which states:

How cool is that?! And as if that wasn't wonderful enough, Nani from Chocolate and Wine sent me the Lemonade Award, which this award is given based on displaying a great attitude or gratitude.

Both awards come with rules of course, mainly that you post the logo on your blog (which I shall do proudly!), that you nominate fellow bloggers (8 for Proximidade and 10 for Lemonade) and that you notify each blogger.

There are so many blogs that I love to read, I figured I'd combine the two and give you my favorite 10 blogs that I feel have a combination of both awards. They truly are charming blogs to read and have created an audience of friends through their great posts, all while showing wonderful attitude and gratitude to the world around them. All of these blogs show an individualism that we all love. Here it goes:

1. Lime in the Coconut - This blog is a really fun read and full of personality. I love all of Linda's photos, especially those of her wonderful home and awesome vacation spot finds.

2. Home Sweet Home and More - I first met Jenny when we were two brides going through the crazy process of planning a wedding. Now, she is a fellow blogger and a friend, if you love reading about the happenings of a talented young woman beginning her career and managing a home this is your blog!

3. Jeune Marie - I know Sarah has already been nominated for the Proximidade award, so here's a double award and a Lemonade! Truly one of my favorite blogs, such wonderful personality and spirit, Sarah has been a true style inspiration. Here's a woman that knows how to live life fabulously!

4. The Hyper Homemaker - can I really say enough about Katie? Such a wonderful inspiration to all women out there balancing a home and a career. Her blog makes me get off my booty and take pride in being a homemaker...with style.

In case you didn't know this, I love reading wedding blogs. In fact, of most of the wedding blogs I read, these lovely ladies have already gotten married (like me), however, I still check on them daily for their wonderful finds and funny anecdotes. These next 2 are the wonderful wedding blogs that I love to read:

5. Peonies and Polaroids - she was such a beautiful a bride and an even more wonderful photographer who shows her amazing work on her blog.

6. East Side Bride - such a fun personality, I love reading her great comments and looking at the great images she finds.

7. Decorno - seriously, one of my favorite blogs of all time. Decorno can make me laugh like nobody's business and make me think just as much with her fabulous posts. She writes about everything from amazing design to topics in the news...definitely check this one out!

8. La La Lovely- Trina's blog is so charming and fun to read, another dose of wonderful style!

9. Inside the Loop - an absolutely wonderful blog! So many great images and style finds, a must on your blog roll.

10. I saved the best for last, my sister's blog Still Life - although I talk to her everyday, I still love reading her daily blog posts. She always has a wit that amazes me, and thanks to her hobby of photography, always manages to catch the best moments of our family.
