I finally got around to uploading the pictures from our North Carolina trip!
First, the must have initial road trip pics: My husband's grandma loved reading outside in the morning, I snuck this little picture of her. Note to self: Snag yourself one of those hats when your a grandma...I think I can rock it. My husband thought it would be a brilliant idea for me to test the safety release inside the trunk... in case your wondering, it worked, and the trunk is rather spacious :-)
The great thing about NC, lots of lakes. So we took the old boat out for a spin...At this point my brother-in-law was starting to get a bit annoyed at all the pictures I was taking. This is his annoyed face, I figured I should take a picture of it... Even on solid ground my balance is not the best. So, my father-in-law decided to show off his keen sense of balance via the flying lotus.I was the first one to jump in the water and in doing so, I ripped a giant hole in my shorts of which my husband was kind enough to document... Nearby they have this amazing general store that Mango and I insist on visiting every time we go there. They have amazing stuff in charming packaging, like their endless supply of retro soaps:

In case your wondering why I'm showing off my soda bottle cap: apparently in NC ginger ale comes in a super hot flavor. I did not know this until my first giant gulp, ouch. I miss my Seagram's.
